When
do I file my quarterly returns?
You must filed your quarterly Sales Tax :
- 1) At the end of the month of February, but not later than
March 20.
- At the end of May, but not later than June 20
- At the end of August, but no later than September 20
- At the end of November, but not later than December 20.
Quarterly
Payroll Taxes are filed:
- At the end of March, but later than April 15
- At the end of June, but no later than July 15
- At the end of September, but no later than October 15
- At the end of December, but no later than January 15.
My child is over 18 year old. Can I can
claim him/her as a dependent and be eligible for Earned
Income Credit?
R) Yes, if he or she is a full time College student.
If he is over 24 years old, he/ she has to be handicapped.
What
is a qualifying dependent for Earned
Income Credit?
The dependent
must meet:
- The
age requirement
- The
residency requirement ( at least 6 months living with the
taxpayer of the tax year)
- The
relationship requirement( son, daughter, stepchild grandchild,
fosterchild).
Am
I eligible for Earned Income Credit if I file a single return?
- Yes,
but you have to be between age 25-64 years old
- And
your adjusted gross income should be less than $10, 200 for
the previous full year.
My
father/Mother claims me as a dependent in his/her return. Can
I file my
own return?
R)Yes,
but you must notify your tax preparer about that.
I
donated a car, I gave money to churches . May I claim those
deductions in my return?
R) You
may, but only if you Itemize your deductions in schedule A,
and your Itemized
deductions exceed the Standard deductions.
